Tales / Stories Begin at 7:00pm

*** Featuring ***

Ted Feitshans is an attorney by training, and NCSU Professor / Extension Administrator when not telling stories. One of his favorite stages is the annual Bold Faced Liars' Showdown, appearing more than a dozen times. Also a faculty advisor to NCSU Toastmasters, Ted has a wonderfully unique style of storytelling with a delicious set of stories that draw you into his worlds of unexpected delights.

Rebekah O'Connell calls Raleigh home. A North Carolina native, she made her career in the non-profit world as a financial educator teaching hundreds of classes throughout the Carolinas. She now enjoys the lighter side of life as a storyteller. Rebekah says she inherited story telling from her father whose talent to tell a joke was legendary. She has recently appeared on stage at the 2017 Bold-Faced Liars' Showdown, Pittsboro Roadhouse, and on Bynum Country Store's Front Porch. Today, she pays homage to her father's legacy with her family tales and original stories.

Gale Buck can be found on many stages from local parks to campgrounds in the Virginia Mountains, even real theater stages. An avid writer (three projects on his desk at this time) he has used his passion to garner championships in multiple tall tale contests. Always looking for a new story to share, he brings a new tale back from the North Pole every year, Gale has been told "I hate to ask you a question because the answer is almost always a story." Gale shares his talents freely as facilitator for Village Storytellers which meets the First Tuesday of the month at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, NC.
