Santa Pete Leary is about to travel to many homes, clubhouses, and special events, but before he leaves he will stop by Front Porch Stories as Pete Leary, songwriter, singer, yodeler, storyteller, and humorist. Come listen to Pete's speical brand of holiday magic and if you enjoy, you can take a bit of Pete Leary home with you on CD, cassette 45 rpm record, or song book. Pete is Winner of two gold metals in the Comedy / Drama and Vocal / Solo categories of the 2010 Wake County Senior Games and 2 silver metals in 2011.

Alan Hoal is known for his quick wit and tall tales but he also has a softer side, the side you might just find under your Christmas Tree wrapped in a bright bow. No, not the man himself but his stories of our favorite time of year. No stranger to the winter scenery of Christmas Alan lends his incredible expertise to our evening of Christmas Tales. Alan is one of our top regional tellers and competed in the 2014 Story Slam at the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, Tn.

While Gale Buck was presenting stories from a book he was writing about the secrets of Christmas, Santa stood up and said "You are a Storyteller!" Since that moment Gale Buck has been weaving the True Magic of Christmas into every presentation, regardless of the time of year. As current heir to the lineage of Santa's Woodsmen, Gale is author of Finding Nicholas and The Secret Stories of Santa and shares original stories about Christmas that will help you believe in all of the magic around us.

This is a Family Event but no child care is provided.
