Pete Leary "Songwriter, Singer, Yodeler, Santa, Leprechaun, Storyteller, and Humorist". Storytelling has been a part of Pete's performances as he tells of what led him to write an emotional or hilarious song. Now he is stretching himself to do more stories for when his singing voice changes back to pre-thirteen. Pete performs at Camps, House concerts, Coffeehouses, Folk festivals, and Pot Luck suppers, from Key West, FL to NY to Seattle. Winner of two gold metals in the Comedy / Drama and Vocal / Solo categories of the 2010 Wake County Senior Games and 2 silver metals in 2011, Pete has a 45 record, three Cassettes and three CDs, plus a Song Lyric Book, and Sheet Music for a growing list of his songs.

Robin Kitson: Robin has entertained and delighted audiences at The Front Porch previously and is a returning favorite. She grew up in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans where stories roll down the river clothed in fog. Now living in Raleigh, NC, she shares motivational tales from first hand experience and often has folks rolling in the aisle while learning about life in the land of the Cajuns or her days living in a tin house overseas. Robin will be a featured storyteller at the first annual Wake Forest Festival in August.

Gale Buck: Gale returns to The Front Porch after several months of sharing his talent on other stages. He has been presenting The Magic of Christmas at The High Point University Christmas Celebration, and won the 2014 Bold-Faced Liars' Showdown. Gale will be featured at Pipestem State Park, WV in June, the 2014 Wake Forest Storytelling Festival in August and will be the featured "New Voice" at the Storytelling Festival of the Carolinas. In addition to starting Front Porch Stories, Gale is facilitator for Village Storytellers which meets the First Tuesday of the month at The Royal Bean Coffee House on Hillsborough Street, Raleigh, NC.

This is a Family Event but no child care is provided. Children should bring their listening ears.
Admission is one smile per person.
